A dream of 6 years in the making. The art. The artists. The story. It's here.
Not by waiting for museums or gatekeepers — but by creating a platform where Ethiopian artists can speak directly to the world, through their own vision and voice.
Today, that dream has a name: Adulis Ethiopian Art. It’s the beginning of something I hope will last for generations.
We named it after Adulis, the ancient Ethiopian port that connected Africa to the world 3,000 years ago. Back then, Ethiopia was one of the most powerful empires on Earth — but that history has been forgotten by most of the world.
Our goal is to be that port again — to help incredible artists from Ethiopia step onto the global stage and share their work with collectors, curators, and anyone who loves beauty, meaning, and story.

This isn’t just about selling Art.It’s about sharing culture, reviving legacy, and creating opportunity. We’re launching our very first collection — 10 masterworks by Ethiopian artists, each available in a signed and numbered edition of 100. These prints aren’t just beautiful — they’re an invitation to see what the world has long overlooked.

Why I’m writing you:
Because you’ve supported me.
Because you know my heart.
And because I want you to be part of this — however that looks for you. Whether that means:
- Visiting the website and seeing the work
- Forwarding this to someone who loves art
- Helping us connect with spaces, curators, or press
- Or just replying to say “I see you. Keep going.”
It all means the world.
Thank you for being part of my life. And for helping me build this bridge between what was, and what can be.
Warmly, Dejene
