Discover the Untapped Power of Ethiopian Contemporary Art
Until recently, Ethiopian contemporary art remained a hidden treasure. Not because it lacked value, but because the world simply hadn’t been invited to witness its brilliance.
Now, that’s changing — and you’re invited.
What Is Adulis Ethiopian Art?
I’m Dejene Hodes, founder of Adulis Ethiopian Art, a platform created to shine a spotlight on Ethiopia’s incredible art scene.
Driven by a passion for storytelling, I returned to my homeland to help share its beauty and depth with a global audience. Ethiopian contemporary art reflects memory, faith, and identity — and Adulis exists to bring these visual stories to the world.
A Global First: Limited-Edition Prints from Ethiopia’s Brightest Artists
Our debut release features 10 powerful pieces of Ethiopian contemporary art, selected for their emotional and cultural depth.
- Each artwork is printed in a limited edition of 100 hand-signed prints.
- This is the first international release of its kind.
- These artworks are meant to be felt — not just seen.
Why Art Collectors Should Take Notice
Ethiopian contemporary art is not only visually compelling — it’s also an emerging collector’s category with unique investment value.
Why this drop matters:
- Category creation: Introduce a new artistic movement.
- First-mover edge: Be among the first to offer or own these works.
- Cultural urgency: Timeless themes, limited availability.
You’re not just acquiring art — you’re participating in a shift that matters.
Future Plans: U.S. Exhibitions & Global Reach
We’re planning two annual U.S. gallery tours, where we’ll showcase 10–15 original Ethiopian artworks in private exhibitions before releasing them for sale. Cities will include New York, Washington, and Los Angeles.
